A flight of dragons descends onto Sin City for The West Coast Dragons Fall Classic! A 2-day event over Labor Day weekend, Sept 4-6, where Sorcerers and Bo Fans from all the corners of the globe join together for great games, good hangs, some casual mingling with a worldly cast of artists, and raising money for a good cause.

The West Coast Dragon’s Fall Classic is a celebration of friends old and new. A place to hang out for a weekend and sling some cardboard without a care in the world. This community run event lead by The Beasts of the Bay and the Fallen Angels exemplifies friendship in the community as Rose City Sorcery, Golden State Avatars, Desert Twisters, Pathfinders SoCal Sorcery, Emerald City Trolls, and the Tavern of Souls all come together to create a unique weekend of Sorcery and Bo Jackson's Battle Arena (BoBA). 

COMMUNICATION

Please join the Beasts of the Bay Discord. Once your registration is paid and confirmed, you will be added to our private Fall Classic Discord channels. We'll coordinate everything via those private channels, e.g. signups for activities, etc. If you're not added within 24 hours of registration, please contact Phobeef.

CHARITY

As with all events hosted by the West Coast Dragons, we will have a charity raffle and auction. All proceeds will benefit the Boys and Girls Club, as well as a TBD local charity around the Vegas area.

We try very hard to bring out the best artists we can find no matter where they are in the world and we are proud to announce that the following artists will be coming out to the Fall Classic:

ACCOMMODATIONS

Vegas offers many accommodations. The venue is near the west end of Fremont Street and the Golden Nugget hits a good spot for value and proximity. There is no room block, but expect ~$150/night.

REGISTRATION 

The cap this year for the event is 72 players due to venue capacity. The entry fee this year is $250. The event fee is due upon registration and payment secures your spot. 

We know this is no paltry sum and as such, the fee covers many things in this Fall Classic - an abundance of food including all meals and snacks, 1 drink at the bar (additional can be purchased), exclusive swag, Sorcery Progressive Sealed, unlimited Sorcery drafts, artist travel expenses, prizing, etc. While everyone has their own unique way of weighing value for events, we know that the EV will be highly positive with the Classic (as with any event hosted by Beasts of the Bay). 

To make sure we don't overbook, this is the registration process:

If you have not paid when submitting the form, we will send you a reminder; however, we will cancel your registration after 48 hours.

REFUNDS 

Full refunds of your registration fee, for any reason, can be requested on or before Sunday, July 1st. After that, all registrations are final. Steakhouse Dinner

Friday night will be an optional steakhouse dinner alongside our guest artists. More details to come.

Painting the Realm

Sunday features a staple of The Beast’s Quest for Urza’s Chalice. We are proud to offer a Unique activity of being a part of a painting class led by one of our featured artists. They will guide us through creating a unique work of art. All materials and supplies are provided for guests interested in taking part in this amazing experience.

Bo Jackson's Battle Arena (BoBA)

Bo Jackson's Battle Arena is a relatively new TCG that has grabbed the attention of a handful of folks involved in organizing the Fall Classic!

We can't tell you all the secrets now, but as it gets closer we'll let you know and you can express your interest so we can get a good headcount.

Throughout the weekend, we will host a few Bo Jackson's Battle Arena (BoBA) events, if you want to get in on some of the fun! Our plan is to support both Sealed and Constructed events and there will be more specifics to come and events to be added to the schedule. 

Some info for the already-initiated: there will be plenty of action from Tecmo Bowl and any other sets that release before the Fall Classic. Additionally, there will be a trade night and other fun formats. So Let's Booooooo!
